Chisapani Nagarkot Trek

Chisapani Nagarkot trek is a hilly trekking takes place from Katmandu valley at the altitude of 1400 meters. It suits basically for old men and children. This region is popular for its culture, religious and a splendid Himalaya range. It is also famous for beautiful waterfall and green forest .We can see Himalayan Lake, ancient mountain trail along with different domestic animals of Himalaya. You will experience the lifestyles of diverse ethnic groups along the trail, which follows ancient trading routes and passes through prosperous trading villages.

Chisapani and Nagarkot both are popular Mountain View spots offering excellent close view of world highest peak Mt. Everest and Mt. Langtang ranges. We first drive from Katmandu to Sundarijal (1 hr) and walk for 4 hours to reach Chisapani ridge. The uphill walk is through the Shivapurai national park. On the way we pass through some ethnic settlements. Once we reach Chisapani at the end of the hike, cool and beautiful hill with close view of eastern Himalayas will greet us. Next morning we watch sunrise on the Himalayas from our lodge. The lodge will be a family inn with good basic facilities. The return walk is through very lovely, dense forest, a non touristy trail in totally natural atmosphere. During the winter, wild lives- specially spotted deer and wild fowls are seen as they come out of the forest in the open sun. We take our picnic lunch route and catch our car back to Katmandu once.
